2. Terms of Service

By using V Code Planet (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2.1 Description of the Service

V Code Planet is an interactive 3D digital planet where companies, brands, startups, and creators can purchase space to display their logo. Logos are placed permanently on the planet and are visible to all visitors.

2.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use this Service.

2.3 Purchases & payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card information.
Prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and include the applicable rate at the time of purchase.
Prices will increase automatically as parcels are sold and remaining slots run out.
The final price depends on the selected size tier and the proportions of your logo.
North Pole and South Pole placements have a dynamic price based on platform revenue, capped at $10,000 USD.
10% of all revenue will be allocated to marketing, to increase visibility for V Code Planet and its advertisers.
100% of the revenue from the North Pole and South Pole placements will be fully allocated to marketing, to increase visibility for V Code Planet and its advertisers.

2.4 Logo placement

Once payment is confirmed, your logo will be placed on the planet automatically.
Placement position is determined algorithmically; you cannot choose a specific location.
Logo placement is intended to be permanent. However, we reserve the right to remove any logo that violates these Terms.

2.5 Logo requirements & content policy

Logos must be in JPG/JPEG format, maximum 10 MB.
Pole logos must be square (1:1 ratio).
You must own or have the right to use the logo you upload.
The following content is strictly prohibited: pornographic or sexual material, hate speech or incitement to hatred, drug-related content, illegal activities of any kind, content that infringes intellectual property rights, malware, or any content that is misleading, defamatory, or harmful.
The project owner reserves the right to cancel a slot purchase if the uploaded image or linked website is deemed incompatible with the project’s purpose and values.
The project owner reserves the right to refuse or cancel any purchase under a general right of admission.
We reserve the right to remove any logo that violates this policy without refund.

2.6 Logo & URL changes

Slot purchasers may request changes to their logo or linked URL during the lifetime of the project by contacting info@vcodeplanet.com. This right must be exercised reasonably and not abused over time.

2.7 Right of withdrawal

The user acknowledges that V Code Planet offers a digital service consisting of the immediate publication of their logo in an online environment, the execution of which begins automatically upon payment confirmation. By accepting these terms, the user grants express consent for the service to commence and declares awareness that, once executed, the right of withdrawal is forfeited in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

2.8 Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your logo. By uploading, you grant V Code Planet a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display your logo on the platform.
All other content, design, and code of V Code Planet are owned by José María Gil Rodríguez and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

2.9 Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your logo placement.

V Code Planet is not responsible for server downtime caused by the domain provider (Dondominio) or the hosting provider (Banahosting).

2.10 Domain & hosting commitment

The project guarantees the renewal of the domain and hosting on a yearly basis, provided that annual revenue exceeds $200 USD as a minimum. If this threshold is not met in any given year, the renewal of the service will depend on the economic viability of the project.

2.11 Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time without prior notice.

2.12 Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2.13 Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Zaragoza, Spain, unless a different jurisdiction is required by applicable consumer protection laws.

3. Privacy Policy

3.1 Data collected

When you make a purchase, we collect:

Email address
Destination URL
Uploaded logo image

Payment data (card details) is processed directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

3.2 Purpose

Your data is used exclusively to:

Process your purchase and display your logo on the planet.
Send you a purchase confirmation and invoice.
Contact you regarding your placement if necessary.

3.3 Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your logo is displayed on the platform and for the legally required period thereafter for tax and accounting purposes.

3.4 Your rights (GDPR)

Under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@vcodeplanet.com.

3.5 Cookies

This website uses cookies for analytics purposes (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with the platform and improve the Service.
